Category:Photo softwareZsa Zsa Gabor is not known for being a sensitive person. And with all the media speculation swirling around her recent arrest for battery, we have to wonder, did the famous Hungarian-born Hollywood star really lay a hand on the LAPD officer who arrested her?
According to the arresting officer, it is true.
Zsa Zsa was arrested on Oct. 28 for allegedly putting her hands around his neck and pulling him toward her during an argument. She was charged with battery, and subsequently released on $5,000 bail. Zsa Zsa's own website is now reporting that the 72-year-old was back in court on Dec. 1, and has pleaded not guilty.
Let's keep in mind that Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, Jack Nicklaus, as well as her two sons, Adam and Patrick, have all said publicly that they trust the officer's version of the incident. And if the officer's story is accurate, it means that Zsa Zsa is a liar -- and worse, the victim of a violent assault.
Although it's hard to imagine Zsa Zsa doing anything to hurt an officer, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. And we have a right to know if a police report has been altered to cover up the truth.
So please help us all get to the bottom of this. Below is the police report from the incident and the officer's version of events, from the Los Angeles Times.
--On Oct. 28, LAPD Officer Matthew Lohr stopped Zsa Zsa Gabor for allegedly jaywalking.
--The officer alleged that Gabor was irate and extremely argumentative.
--He said he took a picture of her and that she threatened to sue him.
--Gabor then called 911 and claimed the officer assaulted her.
--Lohr said that he was already putting handcuffs on Gabor when she put her hands around his neck and began pulling him toward her.
--Lohr said that Gabor's shoulders brushed against his face as she pulled him toward her.
--Lohr said Gabor was "cussing and yelling" at him.
--Gabor was taken to a local police station and charged with battery.
--Gabor's supporters, including Nicklaus, said the charges were false and that Gabor was being set up.
